SICHUAN, CHINA EARTHQUAKE, MAY 2008

"The 2008 Sichuan earthquake in China was a magnitude 7.9–8.0 quake that struck on May 12, causing massive destruction and over 69,000 deaths."

Sandra Wilson and Bob Tinker were invited to China to train Chinese psychiatrists to employ EMDR with children traumatized by the earthquake which killed 69,000 and left 4.8 million homeless.

8 psychiatrists were trained in October, 2008 who then worked with traumatized children in the Sichuan Province.
